After you purchased, modified and used a Premium WordPress Theme on a live site, you just have to showcase it on Modforest.

Not only does it bring you exposure, but it can also help you make a few bucks along the way.

Just head on over to the Submit a theme page.

Most options are pretty self-explanatory, but we’d like to point out some things:

1. You can only select one category. We took this decision so we have a simple, better segmentation of submitted themes.

2. Try to stay within a maximum of 3 tags (for the same reason – K.I.S.S.)

3. The preview image MUST be 590×300 pixels, otherwise nasty cropping will lead to undesirable results.
The image must also stay below 512 KB, which we think is more than enough.

Most premium WordPress theme providers have an affiliate program setup.
If you bought one of their themes, chances are you already are an affiliate.

So, obviously, why not take advantage of that, right?

Modforest gives you the option to add a link to the original theme that is up for sale.
You choose whether you want to add your affiliate link or not.

Example:

Let’s say you purchased a theme from ThemeForest.

Their affiliate links are pretty straightforward.

Just add “?ref=yourusername” (no quotes, duh!) to the end of any ThemeForest link and that’s it.
